it's been a long time since i last updated.



today, i watched a Japanese movie online called "Departures" aka Okuribito.
it won the academy award for best foreign language film at the 2009 Oscars.

its about this guy that started to work as an undertaker.
the title okuribito roughly translates to "person who sends off (to the next life)"

i must say, this is the first movie that made me cry (more than once) while watching it.
the story + soundtrack can seriously make you cry.
watch it if you can. i think it is a very nice film.
